Make-up Tips from a very special Diva
So last week was another busy one and as you all know already about the kick-ass Zenfone Selfie phone with a 13 MP front camera with a flash, which is making heads turn already. We ladies couldn’t be happier with something so tailor made just for us. It only makes sense now to be selfie ready at all the times, with such a phone around to help us look like a diva without actually trying at all. So now is when the “Diva On Duty” – VJ Anusha Dandekar herself comes into the picture, as I will be telling you all about the most helpful and insightful make-up tips which she gave us ladies at the Divas Meet.
So here it is gurlies, note these DIY make-up tips from Anusha :
Fixer + Spray – Before starting with any make-up on your face, do not forget to spray 2-3 pumps of a fixer and spray of a good quality as this just holds your make-up firmly in face without wearing away. So if you want your make-up to look fresh and as it was done in the morning, then do not forget to use the fixer and spray. This is the one that’s she uses.

Primer – Second step should be ideally using a photo finish light primer which should not be more than coin size, and you need to just blend it all over your skin using your fingertips. This will help fill out those lines or pores and give your make-up a flawless finish. Anusha used the Smash box Photo Finish light primer, which is a little expensive.
You can check out few primers from here that suit you. This is one that I use personally and it evens out my make-up naturally.

Two faced tinted beauty balm – This has to be used along with original beauty blenders or any other blending sponges that you have. Make sure to have these beauty blenders in both medium and small sizes for different applications. For examples use the small beauty blender to apply the beauty balm under your eyes. Make sure to blend this in circular upward motion. Use the balm to cover your marks or pimples. This is the one that Anusha uses – Two faced tinted beauty balm (Linen glow)

Mac studio fix + Beauty brush – She uses her Mac studio fix (NC40) and a small brush to cover the under eyes and all the other problem areas which you have already covered with the beauty balm. Do not forget to dab it in the corner of your eyes and over your eyelids.

Mixing of 2 powders if you have two skin tones – Anusha mixes up these two powders with the big brush since she has two skin tones (Benefit Get Even Face Powder 03 + Studio fix powder as shown above). It adds a perfect finish and corrects your make-up with an even look.Use a blender brush to evenly spread it out the make-up with a lighter finish.
Mineralizer – She uses her most favourite of them all her Mac soft and gentle, mineralize skin finish, with her two faced big blender brush. She uses a little bit of the mineralizer on the brush and swooshes against her cheeks. This adds a natural glow and defines your cheekbones.
Don’t forget to moisturize those lips – Anusha uses Soap & Glory, moisturizing lip balm which can be just used minus the entire lipstick look too for an all natural minimalistic make up look. I’ve recently tried this for an event and trust me, its done wonders.
Hope these tips are super helpful to you ladies and even if you use another product its okay as long as you use them, but with this flair and the important part is to not skip on these make-up steps.
A big big thank you to Anusha Dandekar for being so generous and for letting us in on these secrets!
