Neutrogena’s latest brand ambassador and a feisty, sparkly personality – Kristen Bell has partnered with Neutrogena Naturals, to quit washing her face for seven days only to call attention to the water conservation efforts all across. This beauty caught my eye especially with her remarkable performances in forgetting Sarah Marshall, Couple’s Retreat, When in Rome, Scream 4 & the very popular tv show which I used to follow and how – “Heroes” (Sigh, why did it have to end). Without getting distracted from the topic, let me quickly tell you about this win – win association & one of a kind initiative.
When she’s not filming her latest projects (like the sequel to Frozen!), Kristen Bell‘s always seen with her two lucky charms – her beautiful kids. She’s one of those responsible actors who constantly wants to give back too. Luckily for her, there couldn’t have been a better timing, as the star has partnered with Neutrogena Naturals to stop washing her face for seven days to bring attention to water conservation efforts. She has pledged to use Neutrogena Naturals Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes for a week in order to help promote water conservation, as part of The Nature Conservancy and Neutrogena’s new campaign, Wipe For Water. Now this is what really I appreciate from brands, who at least try making a difference while creating quality products!!
This is what Kristen had to say to everyone out there – “It’s a fun way to engage people, but The Nature Conservancy does really great work protecting ecologically important land, and [its] main focus is water and they release amazing stats. I think people inadvertently consider water a never-ending resource, and the goal behind the campaign is just to enlighten people that hopefully — not anytime soon — but one day, we will have to start thinking about our water conservation, because it’s not an endless resource. It’s a nice, lazy challenge, which I always enjoy, since the lazy challenges always tend to be easier”.
This diva undoubtedly feels most comfortable in her own skin when she’s with her family. She says – “I honestly feel most beautiful when I’m in a snuggle pile with them, and also when there’s no mirrors around, because I think it’s such a trap to think that beauty is all visual, and the more you focus on it being a feeling, the happier you’ll become. I truly believe that.Still, it’s fun to get dolled up for date night, just for a change of pace. I usually go with a bold lip because I so rarely do that on the day-to-day, and it makes me feel very dressed up,” she said. “And as a mother of two young children, it’s a quick way to feel jazzy. I would love to say I did a gorgeous smoky eye, but I just don’t have the time. And I think that makeup is especially about balance, and I find that all I have to do is a swipe of mascara if I do a bold lip and it tends to be a quicker makeup process.”
No wonder, the sweetest gesture on her hubby’s part was when he told her that he prefers his wifey without any make-up. Now that according to me is the biggest compliment any woman would ever receive!!! Neutrogena has a winning pick & my support on the awesome initiative. After all, it does take a little effort from the brands side to get to us internet geeks…
