Lately I have been in love with Asus’s gadgets and the technology they offer. I was lucky enough to be a part of their Zen Festival and I was totally amazed at their selfie features along with some beautification modes for flawless pics. When I got to see the user experience of their ZenFones and their latest ZenPad entrant, I knew this could be very handy and useful to me on a day-to-day basis. The Asus ZenPad 8.0 is the slimmest and the lightest tablet that can be carried in your purses or bags easily. Asus ZenPad 8.0 goes with me wherever I go, right from my shoots, to events to family get-togethers, parties and yes even meetings.
So here’s listing below my personal favourite features of Asus ZenPad 8.0 that makes it a must have for you too :
- Asus ZenPad 8.0 is the top-end model and it runs on a 4GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC.
- The screen occupies almost 76.5% of the front portion with very thin borders on all sides, thus giving us all a bigger screen.
- The primary speaker of the Asus ZenPad 8.0 is placed at the top, which also converts into an earpiece during your calls.
- It is 8.5mm thick and weighs 350g, which makes it so easy to carry, be it in your hands or in a small bag.
- The back cover is made of a thin and a lightweight plastic material that actually looks like leather.
- Asus ZenPad 8.0 has a 1280×800-pixel screen and an aspect ratio of 16:10. Check out for yourself the image clarity along with the sharpness in the pics.
- The audio cover accessory can be bought separately and it acts as a protective cover for your tablet since the back cover can be replaced easily with this flip cover.
- The audio cover has 6 in-built and DTS-tuned speakers for excellent sound output.
- The audio cover has a magnetic sensor that automatically unlocks the tablet the minute you open it.
- Asus ZenPad 8.0 has Wi-Fi, expandable storage up to 128GB, a 4000mAh battery, primary camera of 8-megapixel, and a 2-megapixel secondary camera.
- My battery lasted upto 13 hours almost after using the device on wifi and accessing mails.
For me personally the Asus ZenPad 8.0 is a total value for money since it gives me all the functions of an Ipad Mini but at a way lesser price. Other tablets that are at par with the Asus ZenPad8.0, can actually create quite a dent in your pocket. The back cover costs at Rs. 3,000/- and ZenPad 8.0 is priced at Rs. 14,999/- This tablet is a complete package of fairly prized device that is a total technological bliss. Whether you want to own a tablet for your office work or if you want to operate it for your college projects, trust me Asus ZenPad 8.0 is definitely worth a try.
