One of my most favourite hangout destinations in Bandra – Café Mangii, saw a unique get-together over high tea and some yummy cheesy bites. Present at the event was also someone who is a food stylist and no one quite understands food like him, Chef Michael Swamy. Godrej Real Good Yummiez brings New Cheesy Bites to shoo away all our Monsoon woes. Lets be honest, nothing quite beats away all our blues like a hot cuppa, be it chaai or coffee and when you have some quick bites to go along with it that are hot and can go with any sauce of your choice, then one is sorted for the evening. Whether your gonna have guests over or you don’t feel like stepping out to grab coffee with your besties or if you plan on making some cheesy delights at home but are running short of time, then don’t fret. Godrej Real Good Yummiez has it sorted for you all.
They launched two of their latest new Cheesy Bites called Macaroni Cheese Nuggets and Jalapeno Cheese Bites. With these Monsoon friendly Cheese delights, Godrej Yummiez expands its range of cheese bites that consists of Cheese Fingers, Cheese Corn Nuggets and Pizza Pockets. I still remember the long process of boiling the macaroni followed by melting the cheese and not to forget the hard work and time that goes into making the cheesy bites from scratch. All that can be avoided now, as these babies come in ready to fry packets.
Chef Michael Swamy showed some quick tips to add different tastes and flavours to both Macaroni Cheese Nuggets and Jalapeno Cheese Bites. Instead of deep frying, try cooking these cheesy bites in very little olive oil and shallow fry from both sides. You can also add layers of flavoured breads to go with your cheese bites. Try and innovate as to what can bring out the cheese flavour the best to go with your cuppa.
My personal take –
Jalapeno Cheese Bites are my favourites as I am a fan girl of peppery and sour combination. The freshly minced jalapeno adds a perfect spice to your cheesy bites.
Macaroni Cheese Nuggets – This is going to be your favourite too if you also yearn for the combination of Macaroni and Cheese. A classic for all the get-togethers or celebrations.
