“WIND BENEATH MY WINGS!”

Hey all my lovelies… As we move towards the weekend, I cannot help but take out all those chirpy, flowery, girly dresses from my wardrobe. Holidays also automatically mean a flurry of invitations to all kinds of parties or family get together and outings.

This look of mine would be an ideal last minute refuge and a sure shot winner. What pulled me towards this dress is the peach coloured umbrella cut bell sleeves. The contrast plus the cut makes me feel like I have been bestowed with wings!! Hehe. Not to forget, the wind just added the perfect amount of flair to my pictures.

1This reminds me of a very famous quote by Khalil Gibran –
“Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.”

I have a thing for dresses with a “high low hem” look. It gives you lots of options for your feet to play around with. I have opted for a black & golden buckle belt to divide the plain floral look and to accentuate the waist-line. The winged purple stone golden statement neck-piece was an obvious choice since it fits perfectly into the theme of the outfit. I opted for slight heels this time & the goldenish brown ribbon bow on top.

My most favourite part of this look (Other than the winged sleeves ofcourse… :)) was my hairdo. Now this is a very easily attainable & self doable hairdo. You divide your front hair into four parts. Then you start twisting your hair and set them in place with a bobby pin at the center of your head. Take the hair below the pins (only the 4 portions which you had selected) and twist them into a messy looking bun.

So here it is Ladies, your semi messi bun with ample scope to let your hair down too. This is where you meet halfway with the perfect hair combo for the season. I have tried something different this time with my eye make-up, I’m sure my regular readers know what I am talking about. I have simply opted for using dark kohl loose powder at the corner of my eye-lids to highlight the colour of my eyes. You could extend it further depending on your mood.

Make those day outings fun Girls!!!!
