In The Spirit Of EID

I hope all of you had a terrific time on Eid and absolutely feasted on the mouth-watering delicacies that comes our way only twice a year. This Eid especially for me was really busy with so many people to meet, taking time out for my shoot, and also receiving each and every call be it for work or for wishing. This Eid brought along with it an array of opportunities, widening my horizons and giving me the opportunity to do what I love the most whole-heartedly. Yes guys, the good news is that I will be full-time blogging now and bringing loads of things to share with you, all the time on the go!

Other than this, some really great news of associations and announcements coming soon on my blog. Stay tuned like always :).

Keeping the inner colourful diva in me alive, my Eid dress had to have a combination of 3 of my most favourite colours – Black, Pink & Red. The zari work at the flair and the thread work buttis on my sleeves, bring out the essence of the festival. The highlight of this Anarkali dress for me is the cutwork of embroidery on my sleeves, which shows of my skin, and the same cut work is patched on the upper body with black contrast. The chiffon fabric gives it a nice flowy look and feel and I love how the wind had naturally elevated my entire look. Aah, the simple perfect pleasures. Since I opted for a black churidaar, I decided to go with a contrast tomato red dupatta which I didn’t regret picking. I consciously kept my accessorizing minimal with only diamond encrusted earrings and smoky eyes stood in the center of my make-up game.

Here’s hoping that may we be presented by ample opportunities to make a difference, bring a smile on someone’s face, make your blessings count and let’s not wait for Eid to give back in whatever small way we can. Here’s to dreaming of a better life and stronger US!
