Okay so here is my first Indian attire, which I will be writing about on my blog. I had to put in a lot of thought as to what should be “The Perfect” look. My search ended on a very obvious choice, which I am seen donning in these pictures. This Indian dress has been designed by, none other than my Mommy Dearest. I have always loved wearing all the dresses, which my mom has designed since I was a little girl. She had those unique designs and they always made me feel like a special little princess. She ran her boutique with women flocking in at any time of the day or night.
This is where I get my styling and fashion streak. The biggest compliment for me was when people who didn’t know my mom ran a boutique used to ask me which brand does the dress belong to. Mom, this is my pleasure to be not only shooting this dress but also present it to my readers!!!
Taking inspiration from my favourite colour pink, she has added a layer of black chiffon A-Line cut over a lining of bright neon pink. This mix of black atop the neon pink colour, gives out that radiant mixture of a balanced colour palette for this season. The dotted bell sleeves (Again a hot favourite) which can never be out of vogue, adds on to the Indian doll look. The tucks right at the waistline simply accentuate the look of the dress and give an interesting fall to the texture. The back of the dress is as charismatic as the front. The neon pink buttons on the back stand out and bring in their own charm to the entire attire.
The obvious choice for a churidaar or leggings would be either black or pink. But she has decided to give it a summer twist by adding white churidaar & self printed white dupatta with white thread work. Never thought black would also be made so soothing to the eyes and a perfect summer wear too. Such are the wonders which choice of colours can do to your look. I have kept the make-up minimalistic to the core with using only mascara and a thin base. The only make-up which I have applied generously is the dark pink lipstick. Normally, it is very difficult to find me without my eye make-up but it sure does wonders to your look this summer without using it at times, try it.
My earrings are dangling red rubies, which are a feisty contrast. The silver kada on my wrist, adds that essence of our Indian culture to the entire look would not be complete without the bangles or kada.
So opt for an Indian attire for your next visit to your friends or family, yes surprise him with this side too!!
