Here’s wishing all my readers and your mums a Very Happy Mother’s Day!!! What would we even be had it not been for our protective, strong and giving mothers right?? I mean one day isn’t enough to tell them what they mean to us but this day belongs to them & one small gesture of ours goes a long way indeed. I still remember the days when I was so small I could fit in the front of my dad’s bike, but from that age I knew what I wanted for myself, from clothes to accessories. My mother understood that I am inclined towards fashion and she just let me be. No matter what anyone else told her to do, she always followed her own heart. Thanks Mom for ALWAYS believing in me!!!
So I planned today’s day for her from the start of the month itself and I so hope she loves the surprises. A day prior to Mother’s Day I forced her to come with me to Phoenix Market City Kurla and despite having such a long day she accompanied me just because I said I needed her company on a shoot.
After few minutes of walking into the mall, I took her to her favourite store BIBA & said, let me style you. While growing up, I completely depended on her for all my outfits & today we both were ecstatic for the role reversal. BIBA stores across their outlets have an on-going Mother’s Day special discount & my mom was even more happy now. 🙂
I picked out 3 drop dead gorgeous looks for this diva-mum of mine from BIBA. For her Look 1, I picked this flower printed peachy punjabi dress with flared bottoms. This is a perfect easy breezy everyday look for our moms on the go. Since I too want to be matchy matchy #JustLikeYouMom I too opted for powder pink chiffon kalidar suit from BIBA’s latest SS2017 Collection.
My mom loves the colour blue & this was the inspiration for look 2 from BIBA. I combined comfy white cotton palazzos teamed up with crushed dupatta & blue summery kurta which has a contrasting pink thread work on the neckline. I opted for the same separates look in the white & blue combination.
Here’s the final & the Look 3 from BIBA for my mum. I dressed her up in the prettiest pink shade that I found which comes in an easy layering option and skirt palazzo style. The fabrics are so light and perfect for the current weather. This blue gathers boho dress is what she picked for me in her favourite colour.
This Mother’s Day was truly special in every small way & as we both head out for a family get-together I look at her in awe!!!!!!!! My ever so colourful & lovinggggggg MAA!!!! You too can shop these looks for your special ladies from BIBA.

You do look like her! Happy that you followed what you wanted to do in life, and that she supported you as well. Even I feel, you and fashion are meant to go together!
Nice outing for you both.
