Day 3 at Lakme Fashion Week was buzzing with one stellar collection than the other, some surprise fashion sequences and a flash mob that was here with a message for one and all. The highlight of the day for me personally was the last show for the day presented by none other than Anita Dongre. Little Shilpa also showcased her funky collection on the main terrace area which was a head turner indeed.

Minutes before her show started we got to witness a flash mob right outside the main show area. It had a message that made everyone ponder and think.

Anita Dongre’s Collection “Love Notes”

Anita Dongre’s collections spoke about “Love Notes” and they embodied all the emotions concerning the heart. Love came alive on the ramp on this day in all the beautiful ways possible. Taking inspiration from the merger of two fashion styles, her designs were a passionate mix of contemporary chic and modern silhouettes. The elements of nature truly inspire and aspire us to be like these natural forces and never give up. It was on fashionable best day with these inspirations and the colour palette to match up to the mood this Season. The showstopper Sonakshi Sinha was a complete package of True Indian Beauty and an inspirational woman of today. We loved the white on blue combination on her and she grooved on Mera Laung Gavachcha as she walked the ramp. A successful and a grand finish to day three.
