Long Cape Loving - Sassy Shif Says

My usual go to outfit for an event would definitely be a chic yet classy dress or skirt / pants topped with a blazer with some playful prints on. But recently my love for trying and mixing of two style statements has led me a wild imagination. I’m loving every bit of style merging and going the unusual way. So here I am, on my way to a recent Katti Batti special wine and dine session, all dolled up in a two-coloured long cape.

So the out of the comfort zone catch being, this two coloured long cape is given a collared blazer look from the front with a golden button tuck. The black palazzos with a black slip add into a dark palette for the long cape to stand out. My other choice would be white, but since this was an evening affair which I needed to be at, I opted for black shade. My dual tone stilettoes (having shades of black and grey) add the right kinda poise needed for this look I am going for. The only two special accessories I decided to don were my blue and gold peace pendant and a half belt grey sling clutch. Statement neck pieces are not always about being chunky, its all about wearing your personality and letting your clothes do the talking.
