Like every season, this Winter Festive 2016 showcasing at Lakme Fashion Week was all that a fashion lover or fashion enthusiast would hope for. It was held at St. Regis, Mumbai and I was a part of it on all the days bringing a peek into some really funky and trendy runway ready looks right from the scene of action. I have covered all the 5 days of Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive 2016 on my blog and I am going to mention it here incase you missed out on them – Lakme Fashion Week 2016 Winter Festive Coverage. So without wasting any time, lets jump right onto my LFW 2016 Winter Festive Lookbook.
Day 1, LFW 2016 Winter Festive Lookbook : Look 1
I picked up a beautiful maroon and black netted gown from Karleo Fashion. I decided to go a little out of my comfort zone and sport a lacy back, which I have refrained from doing so in the past. More because, I never found my ideal sexy back outfit and I knew when exactly when I found one with Karleo Fashion. The contrasting buttons on the upper body and a soft and shiny lining which felt like second skin made my Day 1 outfit a complete head turner. I completed the look with this beautiful oxidized tassels neckpiece by Opa Accessories and a cute black clutch-sling by Label Kiss. This look had all my favourite things packed into one!

Day 2, LFW 2016 Winter Festive Lookbook : Look – 2
This was a laid back look with hints of “shimmer” keeping in sync with the Season’s Illuminate and Shine motto!! I opted for a grey maxi dress by Being Human Clothing from their latest Autumn Winter 2016 Collection, which has a drawstring at the waistline for you to adjust the fit. This sleeveless maxi is comfy and an ideal option for a long day at work or play. To add some shimmer to the entire look, I opted for this pearl white gold sequined free flowing cape by Besiva India. This is ideal to jazz up any look and add some glamour to your look of the day. Keeping me company were my comfy white wedges and this off-white spacious formal bag by Lavie World. I cannot get over the latest collection by Lavie as they have come quirky and girly pieces, which cater to so many different styles.

Day 3, LFW 2016 Winter Festive Lookbook : Look – 3
Deep maroon shade has clearly emerged as my favourite colour this year and with each passing day my connection with it becomes deeper. I mean you know for a fact it is made for you when you automatically pick out outfits belonging to that colour family. So a long side slits maxi dress was my pick for the day 3 LFW 2016 Winter Festive Lookbook . I teamed it up with a bright yellow packed neck crop from Cover Story FSL. To make monsoon layering fun and desirable, I threw in a breathable lacy slip on top of my maroon maxi dress. I like how the contrasting colours were at play here. Completed this look with my metallic copper heels and a spacious leather sling from Lavie World. I had to add “Wings Of Fire” handcrafted love around my neck by Opa Accessories.

Day 4, LFW 2016 Winter Festive Lookbook : Look – 4
Day 4 at Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive 2016, called for a perfect girl next-door look using this tie-up collared polka dotted shirt and denims tracks by Being Human Clothing. I kept my hair tied up in a neat bun secured with floral golden hairpins. When in doubt, tie your tresses up (always works for me)! Wore navy blue crisscross strappy wedges by Lavie World, which had stretchy elastics on the belts for an added comfort. I decided to carry this cute little 3D golden and metallic sling again by Lavie World that carried my essentials for the day. P.S. – This is how I would be on most days without events or work.

Day 5, LFW 2016 Winter Festive Lookbook : Look – 5
Last day at LFW Winter Festive 2016 was a dreamy and a princess like look dipped in one of my favourite colours – electric blue, designed by Karleo Fashion. This gorgeous net gown had hand painted floral designs in silver and running on the upper body leading all the way below the waistline. I love the perfect backless fit that is so rare in net gowns. So here’s me fulfilling my “Cinderella” fantasy. The baby pink and off-white pearls necklace by Opa Accessories added just the right pastels colours onto this look. Ditched the clutch / bag and opted for baby pink reflectors by Label Kiss. Another favourite companion for me throughout the Lakme Fashion Week this year have been “Wedges” and hence the wooden finish black wedges by Lavie World have been a part of my girl-ing around this season.
