The seventh edition of Fashion Night Out (FNO) 2015 India – a global celebration of fashion by Vogue India was back this year on September 2nd at Palladium Mall, Mumbai from 6 pm to mid-night. And boy Oh boy, what an eventful night it turned out to be. This annual luxury retail shopping extravaganza brought together over 60 of the most celebrated luxury brands and renowned Indian designers all retailing under one roof, each offering amazing experiences, exciting offers and exclusive merchandise. From limited editions and fabulous discounts, to quick beauty makeovers, and fun-filled activities, the evening was power packed with celebration of shopping like never before!
Fashion Nightout 2015 By Vogue at Palladium
I arrived at 6:30 pm and started with the most awaited event of the evening, a fun hang out with none other than Sarah Todd, a very well known Australian model who was remembered and loved for the amazingly delicious “Aloo Gobi” on MasterChef Australia last year. Sarah Todd hosted a special masterclass presenting to everyone some of her most loved dishes like a spiced cauliflower and chickpea salad, a snapper ceviche. To give it a grand finish, towards the end, she distributed a fruity pavlova to the audience.
Shoppers also were presented with a once in a lifetime opportunity to achieve their very own Vogue moment. After a hair and make-up session coming to their rescue at a special kiosk, they were then taken to pose against a Vogue backdrop in life-sized couture cut-outs, with help from Vogue‘s fashion director (and stylist to the stars) Anaita Shroff Adajania. Girls were just flocking to these kiosks living it all up and enjoying every moment with happiness galore. What a happy happy sight this was.
All the different brands and stores at Palladium mall also had their own special fun activities and giveaways queued up. I still cannot get over Kiehl’s yummylicious chocolate cupcakes, freshly made popcorn and some live jamming for the soul. Also right at the entrance they has laced a cut-out of Mr. Bones, where I am posing away JLa Senza brought out a spinning wheel loaded with special offers and the queue was just unending over there. Apart from the fabulous collection, Michael Kors held a lucky draw for a mystery bag. Dune London had placed a very British red telephone booth with white telephone and they had some funky signage to choose from. You can see me pouting away to glory in this uber cool set-up! This one was my personal favourite. And last but not the least, Jimmy Choo’s main attraction were pink glazed cookies, which were to die for.
The main attraction of the evening, however, had to be the Vogue Loves pop-up store which saw unending queues of shoppers and it cut across all age groups. This time around, the store included designer picks by Outhouse, Shantanu & Nikhil, Tarun Tahiliani, Bodice and more, at unbelievably low prices. This FNO India put together by Vogue at Palladium was an out and out exhilarating experience for both fashionistas and the shopaholic with bubbly being poured along at every step of the way, everyone was shopping with a champagne glass in their hands!

I would like to sign off by giving a special mention to my custom made, pure leather, lacy heels which have come to my rescue at my semi-formal attire with equal ease. You guys must have already seen what oomph they added to my little black party dress and here they are yet an obvious pick for a long eventful day. It is safe to say that the highlight of my Vogue Fashion’s Nightout’s outfit are my classy pair of heels. More than 4 hours of running around and I can still wear then on forever, that’s how comfy they are. Stay tuned for unveiling about this shoe brand.
