Date Night Look In Darjeeling With Jhelum Fashion House

Jhelum Fashion House

We shot this look in Darjeeling at the Singtom Tea Estate property on our second last day. Singtom Tea Estate and Resort had an extended balcony cum terrace that leads you there from their dining area. For all the days that we were there, we had most of our meals sitting on this dining table overlooking the mountains and the simple houses around it covered in clouds and mist. I had then and there decided that I will definitely shoot a look on one of my most favourite spots at the Singtom Tea Estate and Resort. The second last day was all about keeping the day for the two of us, taking a chill pill, having cosy dinners and taking long walks along this beautiful property. It is then that I decided that let me quickly shoot my dinner date look from Jhelum Fashion House for the cold mountains in Darjeeling.

Since the climate during our travel was extra cold, I had made sure to carry all my jackets, sweaters, overcoats, cardigans, bomber jackets etc. But for this particular dinner date look I wanted to keep my styling warm yet fashionable. Hence, I wore a pastel combination, which could very well be a day look in the hills as well if teamed up with sneakers. This asymmetrical pleated skirt is a combination of warm knit and jute, which automatically makes it an ideal wear for such cold places like Darjeeling. Because of the heavy jute material, you don’t even have to worry about your skirt flying with the winds. If you are also someone who wants to break away from the usual jeans and jacket look for the cold places, then you too can opt for jute wear in different styles. The light purple asymmetrical pleated skirt came with a light lavender bell sleeves crop top that has intricate beaded hand embroidery on it along with golden button detailing at the back which makes this top a versatile piece to own in your wardrobe. Yes!! I wore thermals underneath but I did not need an additional jacket as this outfit actually kept me warm. This entire outfit is a designer wear curated by Jhelum Fashion House. They have a multi-designer store that includes designs from top Indian fashion designers. They are a perfect one-stop shop to get your hands on your favourite designer collection.

I wore these delicate gold danglers with green stone designed exclusively by Rosado Official. Rosado has a wide variety of handcrafted luxury silver accessories right from the heart of Jaipur. They use natural semi-precious stones moulded in 18 carat gold plated designs. For my footwear, I kept it in sync with my white beaded hand work from my crop top. These white flats were a blessing in disguise during this trip to Darjeeling. I am going to leave you guys with a link to our Darjeeling trip article.
