This officially is the last day of 2016!! Can’t believe yet another year is about to begin with new opportunities and beginnings. May the New Year be all that you wish for and bring along peace and love in your hearts and homes. On that note, as I lovingly look back upon 2016, here’s me putting together Cover Story LookBook that consists of 4 of my favourite looks that can be opted for some last minute New Year’s Eve plans. What I like the most about Cover Story outfits is the story each piece is waiting to be told through your individual style and personality. The entire shoot was done right here in Bandra west at Mediterra Restaurant. The classic Mediterranean decor & style was perfect for the looks I had planned and the food that came after our shoot made the entire experience perfect.
First Look from my Cover Story Lookbook
The first look that I opted for the Cover Story LookBook is a beautifully crafted Burgundy Lace Gown. This is a full-length gown, which makes it a perfect party number with the right accessories. I felt nothing less than royalty donning this beauty. The bell sleeves and the patterned lace detailing on the sleeves make it an elegant option. I teamed it up with a chunky gold necklace and round sunnies by Boga Accessories. With darker hues and gowns especially try keeping your accessories to the bare minimum.
Second Look from my Cover Story Lookbook
The second look from my Cover Story LookBook is an easygoing black jumpsuit, which has black lacy upper body and back. The frilly layer on top of the lace is so chirpy and playful with the wind giving a small peek into the beautiful lace detailing. I didn’t want to take away from this silhouette by opting for heavy accessories. Hence I teamed it up with black and gold tassels earrings, gold tassels bracelet and rose printed box bag from Boga Accessories. To match the hint of red on my bag, red pointed heels were my dash of bold to this look. Say yes to this look for a sophisticated New Year’s Eve wear.
Third Look from my Cover Story Lookbook
Here’s my third look from the lot. A perfect day to night look that will look fresh, comfy and Oh, so stylish!! The high low white and gold-netted top teamed up with flared black pants that combine the 70’s vibes with the trends of 2016. I would go with flats with this one if it would be a day look and as I moved closer towards the night, I slipped into my white box heels. The only two accessories I wore with this are the soft pink and gold studded purse and a four-finger gold ring from Boga Accessories. I like how the merger of outfits and accessories take a look from glam to diva to the girl next door in a jiffy. I feel New Year’s Eve parties are always over hyped and we girls need to find a balance between being comfy and what makes us happy. I think this outfit is super sexy without having to scream out loud. What do you think?
Fourth Look from my Cover Story Lookbook
HERE COMES MY MOST FAVOURITE LOOK!! Black solid skinny fit treggings with two mock pockets and silver zipper design on either sides with a washed out tan top topped and a black polyester jacket. This front open jacket will easily up your style quotient no matter what you decide to pair it up with. It has a deep brown polyester lining running right between the black jacket which gives it a classy finish. With winter, I decided to layer it up and keep it peppy, sassy and happy. This outfit is pretty much me! It has Sassy Shif written all over it!!!!! I threw in my dark brown boots for a perfect December wear and the gold chain you see in my neck comes attached with the top. Hence I kept my accessories game simple yet again with gold pearl drop downs and multiple rings in one finger again from Boga Accessories.
I hope that you enjoy my LAST look article of 2016 which consists of not one but four different styles from my Cover Story LookBook.
See you on the other side of 2017!!!!!<3
