The Beetle Tech Fashion Tour 2016 stepped into its second season in style. This glamorous evening was brought together by Exhibit Technologies and sponsored by one of my favourite sports car Beetle by Volkswagen. Jean Claude Biguine was the style partner for the show and their styles took every outfit to another level altogether.
Since technology and style co-exist, it was so interesting to be a part of this fashion showcasing which was driven and inspired by technology. Such high caliber designers were brought together on one platform on this glorious night who showcased their personal take on Tech-Fashion.
Beetle Tech Fashion Tour 2016 Show One – Shravan Kumar
First up was designer Shravan Kumar whose designs were perfect resort wear with some layering fun and straight cut silhouettes. He stuck to a complete white palette with hints of neon green, all highlighting the fact that nature too can blend with technology.
I loved the relaxed feel that accompanied each and every outfit of his. Double thumbs up for team Biguine India for complementing the models with such bold make up and dark lips, which was ideal for these looks.
Beetle Tech Fashion Tour 2016 Show Two – Vizyon
Vizyon showcased their new line of designs, which incorporated elements like silicon prints on leather, silicon, neoprene, metallic sheet cutouts, transparent plastics and iridescent sequins. Each and every design presented by Vizyon highlighted the fact as to how technology can be used in the best possible way to enhance fashion.
VU Technologies were the technology partner and their brand ambassador and CEO, Devita Saraf walked for Vizyon as the showstopper.
Beetle Tech Fashion Tour 2016 Show Three – Rajat Tangri
Next up was designer Rajat Tangri who derived inspiration from Baroque Interiors and Art deco. He presented elaborately embroidered cocktail dresses with easy separates in the palette of black, teal, nude and oxblood. I particularly loved his take on modern men’s silhouettes with bird motifs that symbolized the free-spirited nature.
Actor Sonu Sood and a livewire on stage Prabhu Deva walked for Rajat Tangri as his showstopper. Both the men in black were all smiles as they struck their signature-dancing pose. The styling by team JCB was again on point and the deep wine-colored lips with chic contouring was both trendy and perfect for a party look.
Beetle Tech Fashion Tour 2016 Show Four – Nandita Mahtani
Designer Nandita Mahtani showcased her latest Autumn Winter 2016 Collection at the Tech Fashion Tour.
Ranging in pastel hues like lemon yellow, powder blue, pink blush and rose splash, her designs comprised of sensual silhouettes with feminine and light embroidery.
Beetle Tech Fashion Tour 2016 Show Five – Vikram Phadnis
Designer Vikram Phadnis concluded the grand finale by showcasing his designs “Magic Of the Night” at the Tech Fashion Tour 2016. He highlighted all the mysterious yet alluring elements of the night, hence encompassing palettes of blacks, greys, silvers and whites. His collection gave equal importance to Men’s Fashion too along with some head turner tuxedos and jackets. The heavily embellished designs with intricate silver embroideries went perfectly with the theme.
I know for a fact that you guys enjoyed thoroughly all the BTS on my Snap chat and Instagram stories where you got a peek into the styling done by team Jean Claude Biguine. Each and every look styled on the models was researched and they brought forth some trendy looks that are here to stay for sure.
