With 2016 starting with a bang and bringing along so much of goodness around already, I decided to give back a little by bringing for you lovelies, my make-up essentials for the year. There are some personal favourites that came along right with me into the year and I am sure they are here to stay. I also have broken free of my usual lighter lippies and tried out some bolder yet warmer shades from Oriflame that now actually go right into my must haves list. Before I jump to talking about what’s in my make-up bag, I have to mention about this super special and a very boho headgear by Accessorize India. The headgear can be bent as per the hair-style you are opting for. I threw in a little front braid on one side since lately, a mix and match has been my game, a happy one isn’t it?
My look for the day wouldn’t have been complete without this super soft, comfy and a casual tee from www.printoctopus.com What initially caught my attention is the vast pool of artists they own and the excellent designs showcasing they do. They are definitely an online one-stop shop for all of your merchandise needs – t-shirts, mobile covers, laptop skins, notebooks, posters, and so many other products that can be custom made as per your needs. I have never found any other better illustrated tee option than the one I am seen wearing as it sums up my blogging love so well and also makes me feel like a part of some cool squad. 😀
Here’s presenting my most favourite make-up products of 2016 from ORIFLAME :
- Oriflame Sunscreen Sunzone – This is a skin ritual with me at all times before I start applying make-up. Make sure to apply a religious layer of sunscreen all over your face and neck before you start the make-up whether you are going to be attending an outdoor or indoor event. I like the Sunzone sunscreen by Oriflame as it is non greasy and it evens out my make-up easily.
- The One Refined Mauve Lipstick – Mauves are usually a girl’s best friend if one hasn’t quite made up their mind whether to opt for lipsticks or gloss or both. This deep mauve shade slightly on the darker maroon palette is perfect for those night outs and parties. I love the creamy finish of these lippies from Oriflame, especially from ‘The One’ collection.
- The One Colour Stylist Lip Liner (Coral Ideal Shade) – I decided to opt for a pop of funky and brighter red for the lip liner, hence I went with Coral Ideal Shade. This is one lip liner that can compliment both lighter and darker shade lipsticks.
- Veryme Soft N Glam Eye Shadow (Soft Brown Shade)– This is very winter friendly eye shadow palette that has your shadow highlighter and a very shimmery shade of dark brown. Trust me, your eyes need no more make-up with this shade on those eye-lids. I am sporting a mix of the soft brown shade with the white highlighter just under my brows.
- Veryme Mirror Gloss (Soft Coral Shade) – You can see the exact shade of this mirror gloss in the swatches I made. I dabbed a little bit of the soft coral shade over my lippies to add that natural finish. You can choose to simply use it without any lipstick or use it as an add-on over your lippy shade.
Oriflame The One Collection
- The One Melting Chocolate Lipstick – This shade is by far my number one hot favourite shade by Oriflame so far. Just as the name suggests, it indeed looks also like a melting chocolate. If this doesn’t make you wanna own it, then the actual spunk that it adds to your face overall, surely will.
- The One Colour Stylist Lip Liner (Smoke Red Shade) –This is a deeper shade of red and gives a perfect ombre when mixed with the melting chocolate lipstick. I decided to try these two out and the combination turned out to be used by me frequently.
- The One Illuskin Blush (Luminous Peach Shade) – All girls will agree with me, how much we need that perfect mix and blending of our blush with cheek highlighters to get the right finish. The One Illuskin Blush by Oriflame has a great shade called luminous peach that gives you some peachy finish for your cheeks along with a soft pinch for you to mix accordingly.
