Last few weeks I have had a comparatively busy week and by busy, I mean no time to drop by to a salon to get a hair wash or treat myself to a mani-pedi busy. Plus, there’s no guarantee that my preferred stylist will be available at the times say I can think of squeezing in some me time. I know this sucks and when I add to these woos some more of my professional make-up and hairstyle needs, it can be a real bummer. Considering the number of days in a week, I shoot for my personal style files and look posts for my blog, it requires me to head over to a salon to get professional hairstyles and make-up done quite often. I had booked them from their website for a hairstyle and a party make-up for day 1 and a hair spa for day 2. My stylists for the day were Neha (make-up artist) and Vicky (hair stylist). They arrived on time and they came equipped with their aprons, towels, mats, dryers, etc. When I had booked an appointment with them, they had informed me to wash my hair in advance. So when they arrived, they moved right to the styling. They took about an hour to give me some soft curls and dreamy party look. All I had to brief them was, give me a look that can be carried from a traveller’s meet up to a brand’s shoot. I loved the end result, right from the on-point eye make-up to the perfect curls on my tresses. Both Vicky and Neha, took less than 10 minutes to make me feel comfortable and they kept on inquiring every step of the way of the styling and if it was headed in the right direction. I had asked for a bolder eye make-up and Neha added just the right dash of glamour with the deep marsala eyes. I’ll let the pictures do the talking!! Both the make-up and the hairdo were a big hit at both the events that I attended.
The next day I decided to call Team Amber again for a quick hair spa, as it is always a good idea to treat your hair to some deep conditioning and care post any hair styling. Vicky has used some of the best hair masks and once I washed the mask off, my hair felt so silky smooth. What I liked the most about my hair spa with Amber is that the smoothness lasted for a really long duration and the massage towards the end, relieved me of all the stress. I am actually looking forward to having Amber over at my place, before my shoots every month to indulge myself in a complete package of good styling and skincare!
