This entire festive month I have spent working on so many fun collaborations right from look shoots to creating different beauty look tutorials and make-up decoding. One of my favourite make-up regimes is creating fun and playful eye make-up looks that are easy to do it yourself and they also add so much charm to your overall look. Eye make-up doesn’t have to be boring or smokey all the time consisting of only a liner or a kaajal. That is exactly why I decided to bring to you a step-by-step breakdown of my “Colour-Up Eye Shadow Tutorial” using MAC Cosmetics eye shadows.

MAC recently launched their latest “It’s A Strike” collection out of which I used the below products to create this look :
- Flock And Roll Eye Shadow By MAC Cosmetics – This is a cute baby pink shade that we all need in our eye shadow range.
- 300 Game Eye Shadow By MAC Cosmetics – This is the blackened cherry shade by MAC Cosmetics from their It’s A Strike range that is super pigmented and matte in texture.
- Bowlarama Eye Shadow By MAC Cosmetics – This shade is my favourite and all the colour popping will be done by this bright lime green baby.
Step 1 – Prime your eyes and apply any nude brown on your eyelids. Post which start packing on Bowlarama shade all over your lids (right till the crease).
Step 2 – Use 300 Game shade to cut crease and also use this on the outer corner of the eyes. Highlight under your brow line using Flock And Roll shade and also use this shade to soften the edges.
Step 3 – For the under eye liner, I have used all the three eye shadows, starting with Flock And Roll on the inner corners, Bowlarama on the middle part and smoked out with 300 Game joining the outer corner of the eyes.
Step 4 – Complete the look by applying eyeliner on the upper lids and I have used falsies as well. You can skip the fake lashes if you want.
What I liked about these eye shadows by MAC Cosmetics :
- The best buy for the price.
- The colour pay-off is really good and the colour is long lasting.
- The shades are buildable and there is no streaking or patchiness.
- The colours work so well with each other, which makes blending so easy.
- The colour fall-out is bare minimum.
- The Bowlarama shade brightens up your eyes within a jiffy.
Go ahead and create some drama using the latest entrants by MAC Cosmetics in eye shadows. Hope you like my eye shadow tutorial and reviews.
