I have been meaning to review Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit for the longest time now. Especially when so many of you asked me to talk about some of the Bobbi Brown products that I have been using during all my travels lately, especially the concealer kit. I promise to review one by one as many products that I can cover. So here is my detailed review about one of the most talked about concealer this year – Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit.
The Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit Includes :
- 05 oz creamy concealer and 0.06 oz sheer pressed powder in compact (Cool Sand Shade).
- It comes in 15 different shades.
- The kit is compact and looks like a small contact lens kit.
- It comes with a mirrored top inside the kit.
Actual Swatches :
I am posting two different swatches each of the creamy concealer and the yellow pressed setting powder.
One swatch is with a single swoosh and the second swatch is with two layers of the concealer. I have repeated the same with the yellow pressed powder as well to give you all a fair idea of how the texture actually works.
What I Liked about Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit:
- Full under eye coverage.
- The fact that it comes with its own pressed powder makes it handy for quick fixes.
- This concealer kit is ideal for long wear like most of Bobbi Brown products.
- Best for dry skin type as this concealer hydrates your under eye area.
- The concealer has a creamy, thick texture.
- Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit is perfect for travel as it is so tiny and easy to carry.
What could be better about Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit :
- The texture of the concealer is so thick that it makes it very difficult to be used with concealer brushes. Also if you are going to use it the first time, I advice you to use very little to avoid patchiness.
- The colour of the pressed powder is in the yellow shade (For Cool Sand Shade) and hence those who prefer a white pressed powder, this won’t be that useful to them. Porcelain comes with white pressed powder
- I am used to taking the concealer with a concealer brush and blending it on a rim. But this concealer kit doesn’t have any rim or space for you to blend your concealer.
- Since the kit is small, there isn’t much space between the concealer and the pressed powder. This causes the concealer to have a layer of the powder set on it, which really becomes a task cleaning it later. I wish there was slightly more space between them.
- I personally wish instead of the mirror, they kept some space for blending or cleaning out the excess product.
Last Thoughts on Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit :
I genuinely feel that this concealer kit sets in perfectly well when you apply it using your fingers as opposed to a brush or a beauty blender. Priced at 37$ on Bobbi Brown’s website, I have seen Indian websites selling the products ranging at Rs. 5,500/- to Rs. 9,500 (On Amazon). Overall, it is a luxury buy and if you master the art of applying it, then you definitely are going to swear by it for the longest time. I have actually ordered 2 of these babies from the States for myself. I find it so handy for all my shoots and events, with no touch-ups required.
