Whitley Skirt Look In Darjeeling #TravelOOTD

You all know about my recent trip to the tea heaven of India – Darjeeling. Let me quickly extend a BIG FAT THANK YOU to everyone who is a part of our Snapchat & Instagram Fam and your suggestions and good wishes indeed made our trip even more memorable and loving (May Snapchat id – SassyShifSays). Mid September is a perfect time to visit Darjeeling for those of you who love that perfect change in weather (just like me) since you will be greeted with mild showers and misty skies. Our stay at Singtom Tea Estate & Resort was a dream come true in every way possible and we made the most of our stay by being so close to nature.

Coming to travel and packing smartly and lightly for the trip, I am personally very much sorted when it comes to travelling fashionably. A couple of jackets, comfy shoes, flats, easy accessorizing, backpacks and loose clothes like umbrella skirts or stretchy leggings can always be found in my travel bag. This time around for our Darjeeling trip too, I knew exactly what’s coming with me to the hills. Out of the many looks shot in Darjeeling that I will be sharing with you all soon, here’s the first one, which is a personal favourite of mine. Firstly, this is an epitome of what I call the easy breezy look and hey, look at me just flowing with the clouds… 😉

besiva-india-8I am wearing a navy blue came top with an off-white lacy bow at the neckline by Besiva India. I am going to include the direct link to product here for you guys to view it for yourself.

I like the fact that this knitted top with spaghetti straps can be teamed up with so many options. I decided to throw in an easy layering option with a sleeveless shirt crop top. I loved the bright blue colour and it also allowed me to be playful with my layering since it was chilly in Darjeeling at that time. Added below this a jet black “Whitely Skirt” again from Besiva India. You can shop the Whitely Skirt here

This is a polyester pleated skirt that extends just below your knees and is so lightweight to carry. A perfect travel companion if you ask me. You can let your imagination run wild and pair it with tees to shirts, crops tops to capes, blazers or jackets too. I like the fact that Besiva India has some amazing collections to choose from based on different occasions from party to work and more!! Plus, their fit combined with some stylish ensemble makes it one of my favourite online shopping portals.

Since my Darjeeling trip required me to walk, trek and climb uphill too, up and around the tea estates, I made sure I carried along my brand new neon walking shoes from New Balance India.
