This season of Lakme Fashion Week Festive Winter 2016 was all about setting the bar really high with regard to different looks with the power of the right make-up. Lakme Absolute upped their game by introducing their latest Lakme Absolute Illuminate range this Lakme Fashion Week, which will be launched soon for everyone to get their hands on. The runway models rocked the fashion world with their special looks created using the new Illuminate range by Lakme.
Lakme Absolute Illuminate Range
The Lakme Absolute Illuminate range is all about shimmer and shine using some of the finest formulas to bring forth a make-up revolution. Perfect in time for our festive looks, their Illuminate range is a class apart. Amidst the entire sneak peek excitement, I decided to team up with team Lakme and bring for you lovelies a complete “Strobe And Shine” look created using only Lakme Absolute Illuminate products. Sanjana was the make-up artist for the day from team Lakme and here’s how she created this “Strobe And Shine” look.
Lakme Absolute Illuminate Strobe & Shine Look
Step 1 – Lakme Absolute Illuminating Foundation (Shade 02 Natural Flare)
Post moisturizing my skin Sanjana started off by applying Lakme Absolute Illuminating Foundation on my face and neck. You will notice the difference compared to other foundations immediately as your face will have a natural glow and a photo ready finish. Always make sure to opt for a foundation that is a shade or two darker than your original skin tone.
Step 2 – Lakme Absolute White Intense Concealer
Lakme Absolute White Intense Concealer is ideal to cover any blemishes, pimples, marks and your dark under eye circles. You can use this to highlight the bridge of your nose too.
Step 3 – Lakme Absolute Illuminating Eye Shadow Palette
This eye shadow palette comes in some trendy and easy to use eye shadow colours that are super pigmented and boosted with shine for the added glamour in your look. We opted for the brown shade to highlight the corner of my eye blending through the creases.
Step 4 – Lakme Absolute Shine Line (Eyeliner)
Lakme Absolute Shine Line Eyeliners are definitely here to stay and I was blown away with their easy applicator that gives you a perfect strobe and shine look on those eyes. We went with a copper shine line for a winged liner and you get the required shimmer in just two applications.
Step 5 – Lakme Absolute Moon Lit Highlighter
Use this on the center of your forehead, bridge of your nose and under your eyes for a natural radiating glow. True to its name Lakme Absolute Moon Lit Highlighter is all you need this season to attain the glamorous strobe and shine look.
Step 6 – Lakme Absolute Sun Kissed Bronzer
You could use the Lakme Absolute Sun Kissed Bronzer to give your face a warmer tone, which looks very natural yet, sun kissed. Apply it on the contour of your cheekbones, top part of your forehead, sides of your nose and under your jawline.
Step 7 – Lakme Absolute Lip Shimmer
We completed my strobe and shine look with Lakme Absolute Lip Shimmer Lipstick, which is creamy, infused with long lasting shine and is super pigmented.
So here we are with my final strobe and shine look with Lakme Absolute Illuminate Range. Just like this now getting runway ready looks is so easy and self-attainable.
