I know most of the fashion trends that are doing the rounds lately are all focused around short skirts, capris and mid length dresses that will be a carefree outfit to don during the rains especially. But I never like to play by the rules and stick to the so-called dos and don’ts when it comes to my personal styling. So, the first thing that came to my mind for a monsoons look is a long skirt for a casual yet comfy look that has a quirky side to it. Wrap around skirts have always been around and for some reason I own so many of them. Since you get to decide the fit, the length and skip or include a belt as per your own needs, it is indeed a handy thing to own.

The Dances Maxi Skirt is a cotton denim skirt that comes with a bow tie and has a contrasting lining at the edges. The asymmetrical fall and a crisscross over layering at the front adds in such a playful and quirky look to your outfit. This skirt lately has been my go to piece of clothing for all my casual meetings to events where all you have to do is throw in the right top. For a movie night, a graphic tee tucked right under it is just so perfect.

For an event, in my case a launch event I attended recently for Oppo F1s Selfie Expert wearing this, I added in a nude toned ruffled top. This is exactly where your bottoms make a difference. You should atleast have 3-4 versatile pieces of bottoms consisting of jeans, skirts, jeggings or leggings that can be transformed just by changing the tops and accessories.
