Hair colour for me simply means two things – quirkiness and spunk. I love playing with different colours when it comes to styling, so why behave differently when it comes to hair colour right? One can change the look completely or add so much fun and up the quotient to your look simply by opting for a hair colour that stands in unison to your personality. I for one, love trying out different hairstyles and hair colours too. But I must mention here that when it comes to hair colouring options, you must trust only the best as one wrong move can give you unsatisfactory results which in turn would be a waste of both time and money.
I have lately been a big fan of Jean Claude Biguine’s services and I am sure you guys saw the newest haircut I got from there last month. This time around, I decided to visit their Bandra outlet for a hair colouring session.
Sakshi, the hair stylist was assigned to me and she immediately examined my hair and suggested I opt for streaks instead of global. This was the best decision ever, as I am in love with the end result. I already had previously coloured my hair and hence Sakshi suggested that we pre-lighten and prepare the hair for highlights. I wanted to opt for some rich natural shades yet keep them in the family of browns, hence we decided to go ahead with the 7/17 Ash Brown highlights from Koleston Perfect range by Wella Professionals.
Step 1 was to get the highlights covered and leave the colour on for about 20 mins. This was further packed away in place using foil.
Step 2 was to get the global colour in place with the remaining hair. Again Sakshi suggested we go ahead with a deeper brown shade of 6/7 by Koleston Perfect, Wella Professionals. This is an apt colour mix for a fairer face like mine since the streaks stand out with the darker global palette and gives a tint of natural and cool ash brown to the hair overall. We again left the global colour on for good 30-35 mins. I must mention here, that in the global colour we also mixed few drops of Luxe oil that keeps the colour in place.
Step 3 was to wash the hair separating the highlights and washing that colour off first so that the global colour doesn’t mix up. After a thorough wash, we again applied global colour all over my hair, adding few drops of luxe oil again to cover the entire hair with a balanced finish.
Step 4 was to use a shine define mask no. 3 by Wella Professionals mixed with Color Save infusion no. 4 by Wella Professionals again that thoroughly conditions coloured hair and gives a splendid shine too. I must mention here about the Perfect Koleston range by Wella Professionals, which is used as one of the most leading professional colours worldwide. It has some highest quality ingredients and it is bound to add lustre, bring out the vibrancy and give a perfect finish to your hair. Especially of you are also opting like me between any palettes of natural browns, blondes, deeper reds or any rich blonde shades, then the Koleston Perfect should be the apt pick for you too. It actually has 25% more conditioning agents and more lipids for that extra haircare compared to other products. I am so much in love with the soft texture of my hair post the hair colouring, that I know for a fact my next hair colouring session will definitely consist of Koleston Perfect Hair Colour by Wella Professionals. Not only that, but it will only be conducted at Jean Claude Biguine, Bandra. It all starts with your hair stylist knowing your exact needs and then suggesting the right procedure and colouring options depending on a lot of factors, like your complexion, face cut, hair volume, etc. I am so in love with the end result as you can see.
After the final wash, we also added a quick burst of diaboost on my scalp as that is known to really keep your scalp squeaky clean and add in so much of volume to your hair!
Step 5 was a final wash and a blow dry and WALLAH!!! Here’s presenting my newest hair dope all thanks to Jean Claude Biguine !!
