Change Is Beautiful With BIBA

BIBA for me personally has been an epitome of celebrating my womanhood and being comfortable with what I am donning. Right from their intricate ethnic designs to their very boho indo-western looks, Biba has always been reinventing themselves as per the needs of us women. They understand our varied choices and our ethnic roots like no other. I cannot wait to do a special look book with Biba looks with my personal take for all you gorgeous readers. With a brand, which is so in sync with the woman of today and her needs, I am more in awe with the brand Biba with their latest initiative.

Biba decided to come forward in support of gender inequality and talk openly about the biased behavior that still exits in our society with respect to our genders. This is a sad mentality but a true and a prominent one and I am sure we all as girls or women have faced this behavior atleast once if not many times in our life. Gender inequality starts in our heads, in our thoughts, in our minds and hearts and in our homes. So it is very important to teach your kids the valued lessons they won’t learn anywhere else and lead by example. Make sure to teach them to treat all human beings as equal. Being a woman or being a girl is a matter of pride and we have all the right to walk shoulder to shoulder with men in all walks of life. Be it your career or home!!! This is exactly where Biba decided to step in and bring forth for all of us an excellent initiative of “Gender Equality” that has been a stepping-stone and a valued lesson for all.

I recently came across their digital campaign called Change Is Beautiful which is a break through campaign and it will definitely make you question yourself at the end of it, that why should women have to be a particular way in our society and why not men instead? Or why cannot men and women be in it together, be it chores, proposals, arranged marriages set-ups or any walks of life you can think of. The film also features a well-known south Indian actress Regina Cassandra who has starred in movies like Rajathandhiram, Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga, etc.
