My 12 Hour Story Maybelline White Super Fresh Compact

With the addition of the latest entrant “White Super Fresh Compact Powder” to the Maybelline New York’s cosmetics range, I was super stoked to try it out for myself before I get to review it. One of the major product-highlighting factors of Maybelline White Super Fresh Compact Powder was the complete 12 hour protection which caught my attention. For a lifestyle and schedule like mine, if this worked for me, then that would actually reduce the amount of time I waste in touch ups.

So as usual, I started my day with my workout, few meetings, a fitting session, a photoshoot with two changes and last but definitely not the least tried out the actual effects of Maybelline New York’s White Super Fresh Compact, which I was wearing throughout the day. Post my workout and a quick shower, I decided to use a mild sun screen on my face and neck and dabbed a single coat of pearl shade of the compact which is apt for any light to medium skin tone. I skipped the procedure of base and the concealer. My day started at 9 am sharp and by the time I finished two meetings, it was lunchtime since I had to travel quite a bit all the way to the town from Bandra. In these 6 hours, I didn’t need a touch up even once. 90% of my blemishes and dark circles were easily covered as well and that too surprisingly without using a concealer which is something really huge and time saving for shoot ready or meetings ready. *6 Hours Without Any Touch-UP*

As the day progressed, post lunch I hit Bandra again for some fittings at a boutique and grabbed a quick coffee refill with friends. Post which, around 6:30 p.m. I was headed for 2 photo-shoots at one location. From 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. which is 9.5 hours, and I hadn’t even thought of touch-ups simply because, the Maybelline White Super Fresh Compact Powder didn’t seem caky or patchy at all and even though there was quite a bit of sweating that happened that day with all the running around, my face didn’t seem oily like on all the other times. I particularly have extra oily skin that leads to lot of re-touch ups. But luckily this one seemed like its been tailored made for all the women like me. During the photohoot, around 7 ish, I decided to add three things atop my Maybelline White Super Fresh Compact Powder – Some blush on my cheeks, a thin line of some green eye-shadow on the upper eyelids and a lipstick. Once I added these three things to complete my girl next-door shoot-look, I then added a layer of Maybelline White Super Fresh Compact Powder right at the end. I decided to do a quick touch-up with it since it suited my skin so well and the pure perlites enhanced my fair skin tone to a natural glow. Plus the blush was also toned down to a warmer shade all thanks to the compact powder.
