The Shopping Fest Of The Season

October was special for more reasons than one and it also included 3 days of awesome Diwali shopping spree, all thanks to Parikrama 2015, which was an icing on the cake. I personally had so much fun these 3 days during the shopping bonanza. Right from meeting so many known and some new faces who cheerfully shopped, participated and yes ofcourse, clicked a hell lot of pictures at the photo-booths placed. This time around, Parikrama 2015 was back with a BANG and it covered all your Diwali shopping, right from home décor to apparels, accessories to footwear, lights to foodie’s delights and so many different kinds of workshops.

It feels so great to be a part of something so loved and successful like PARIKRAMA 2015, which was a major hit thanks to the love and support we received from each and every one of you. We being the only style and blog partner had an unforgettable time at the courtyard of High Street Phoenix, Lower Parel. Set right in the heart of a shopper’s hub, these three days the crowd was buzzing from morning till wee hours. More than 85+ brands under their umbrella, 3 lacs + footfall, there was not one category they missed out on. I personally loved the concept of live artistic weaving shows and live workshops, which kept one and all entertained and in awe. Then there were workshops like the make and bake, water-colour paintings, dream catcher, etc which gave an opportunity to the kids to select a creative medium and learn something new. Ofcourse, this goes without saying that the happy shoppers (mums), got to come back after a refreshing Parikrama buy to a beautiful art form created by their kiddies. This really was a win-win situation for both.

You name an outfit style or trend and Parikrama 2015 had it all included. Their styles ranged from – Indian / ethnic wear, indo-western, afghani kurtis, long slit tops, capes, peplum tops, cut work jeggings, leggings, gowns, ghagra cholis, handmade soaps, home décor, bags, purses and wallets, designer / bespoke shoes, jewellery both western & traditional, and some live music. This was one brands friendly atmosphere, which lit-up the entire space with such vibrant showcasing.

My DIWALI wouldn’t have been as bright if it had not been for my complete sorted shopping experience only at the paradise that Parikrama 2015 had set up.
