My Look for PARIKRAMA 2015 Event

The biggest shopping saga was back this time with double the fun and so many more labels listed with them for you to shop away to your heart’s content!! Not only that, Parikrama 2015 event, had so many different workshops, wherein both the parents and kids could participate for a creative and nourishing experience. I had a blast at this bonanza for the last two days and I eagerly await the last day, as there are so many new additions like the candle making workshops and some cool bands performing live.

With the overwhelming response that Parikrama 2015 event received, I decided to pick my easy breezy festive look and showcase you guys what I put together for day 1! Keeping in mind, the scorching heat of Mumbai and the festive vibes alive and kicking, I decided to opt for a cool Afghani dress from the label – “Purity” which is a Mumbai based brand and the best part is that they manufacture in-house all their designs. The head designer and the heart and soul behind this brand personally oversees and makes sure of the designs reaching out the right audience and also believes in versatile style.

These Afghani gowns designed by her are a perfect mix of style and comfort as the super soft material is mall cotton and the cut, silhouette and the fall have been styled keeping in mind the sheer comfort of us. I can so see myself carrying this outfit from the Parikrama 2015 event to a brunch party or straight to the beaches as well! I am a stickler for the tiny details and I love the hints of gold tassels with diamonds encrusted on the gown along with the contrast streaks of dark pink borders on the cool white and blue palette. Plus her clothes are so affordable, they range anywhere between Rs. 1,800 – 2,500 only. With the solid blue and white dress I decided to opt for some dangling, Indian, pearls earrings with hints of emerald and ruby!! I love the contrast of colours, yet the similar festive vibes and though they are huge, they are still easy to carry. A statement and perfect set of earrings for your jewellery fix can be attained, just by dropping by at stall no. 4 and checking out their collection by – Sanskriti Creations!

The platform heels are my absolute favourites lately and I cannot get enough of them, be it events or long-standing hours of exhibitions or movie dates!! Don’t they add so much of glamour yet look so effortless?? A big shoutout to PAIO for these bespoke platform heels.

I had to add in my favourite pair of cool mint coloured reflectors and an off-white bag from my go-to brand for a head-turner bag fix – Boga Accessories. With so much shopping in the air and the sun shining bright, these two kept me alive, breathing, floating and HOW!!!! Happy PARIKRAMA 2015 EVENT = HAPPY ME!!! Cannot wait to see so many faces faces yet again today.
