My Monochrome Story

This is me giving into one of the most effortlessly stylish looks  – the white and black combo! I’ve been tempted to get into a full monochrome look more than once since my wardrobe has an array of these two colours and that too in all the cuts and fits you could imagine. But since I was going to shoot a very basic fashion trend where one couldn’t really go wrong with, I decided to give my own little twist to the entire look. After all, I love to add my own sassy flavour to the look I style for you guys! 😉

In my otherwise very plain jane monochromatic ensemble, I decided to spruce up the entire outfit by mixing the patterns in the same colour palette. For which I decided to don a black & white dotted pencil fitting skirt (I love the way it fits on me like a second skin, don’t you?) and a slightly loose tucked in the checkered print top. Mixing of the stripes and the dots in this monochrome look was indeed adding my own personal zest & spunk to it. Don’t be afraid to mix or match it up depending on your preference. On a personal note – I’ve realized this over the years and more so now, you need to play with all that your wardrobe already has, give layers to your look, be playful and most importantly do not just follow the so called trends so easily. Find your own comfort zone and your own fashion space, trust me you’ll be so ecstatic with the end result!!! 🙂

I’ve finished this look with a shiny and crystallized off-whitish Boga Accessories clutch which has embellishments on one side. This was an instant must have for me since my overall look was otherwise laid back, I wanted to let my classy and blingy clutch do its own talking! The best part about this clutch is that just by adding this one accessory to your different looks, it will transform your day look to a party wear so smoothly. A dash of gold through my statement neckpiece from The Little Bauble Box and my golden all season flats is what I opted for.

As many of you already know that “The Little Bauble Box” is my go to designer jewellery that not only stands out but also each and every jewellery has been specially crafted keeping in mind the varied needs of us distinctive women of today. Every bauble has its own story to tell and the statement neckpiece definitely adds to mine doesn’t it?
