Red hair occurs naturally in 1–2% of the human population. Commonly referred to as Red heads or gingers. I have always found red hair to have a fierce tone and be one of the sexiest hair colour to have. Here is a list of some of the most loved Red Heads from Hollywood.
1) Emma Stone
This Amazing Spider-man girl, has had a red mane for the longest time that I could remember. This beauty, smitten by The Spice Girl’s had to make a presentation on Madonna’s “Hollywood” which was an attempt to persuade her parents to allow her to drop out from school and pursue acting instead. She’s a natural blonde but has had red hair for so long now she feels that the blonde hair is more like a wig.
2) Scarlett Johansson
We all saw the different shades of the fiery hue sported by her Black Widow character for the Marvel action films. Since she is a natural dark haired blonde, here’s here most prized advice – “If you’re a dark blonde, golden copper is good because there are undertones of that in your hair already; if you’re a light brunette, opt for copper; if you’re a medium brunette, think auburn.”
3) Rihanna
Rihanna’s reddish brown bob at the MET Gala made several heads turn and this was the only colour, which made its mark despite the dark yellow fur cape she carried along.
4) Julianne Moore
This glamorous and comfortable in her own skin diva, loves her deep red ruby hair so much that she’s admitted to having kinship with fellow red heads. She actually will drop a non-expecting ‘hello’ to red heads she passes by on the road.
5) Alyson Hannigan
This natural brunette and one of the memorable characters from ‘How I Met Your Mother!’, a show I always swear by for its epicness. ;-P She made a statement with that bold colour and her cropped hairdo!
6) Lana Del Rey
Her mermaid like red wavy hair has had a magnetic effect all over the world. This has become a part of her personality other than her soulful sensuous voice and a sulky pout.
7) Julia Roberts
The big hearted woman in ‘Pretty Woman’ debut her red hued hair at the SAG awards earlier this year. The shade had a similar fierce and familiar reddish effect just like her look from the film.
8) Marcia Cross
Bree van De Kamp’s neurotically perfect housewife’s character from ‘Desperate Housewife’ says that other than her deep ruby red coloured hair Bree and Marcia are as different like night and day. Her glossy red tresses perfectly fall on her soft heart shaped face and draw attention to her piercing eyes.
9) Milla Jovovich
She debuted with this lighter shade of red while promoting the film ‘The Three Musketeers’. The beautiful shade of coppery red, complimented well with the blonde highlights accentuating her green eyes.
10) Jessica Alba
This diva was born with natural dark brown hair, but she has experimented with so many hair colours, with deep dark reddish brown being her hot favourite. The shiny red mane brings out the colour of her cheeks.
