LUXURY EVENT THE HAWAIIAN WAY BY SAKURA EVENTS

This year has been outstandingly well for the female entrepreneurs and continue to outpace the national average. It gives me immense pleasure to announce my next association with yet another feisty, level-headed, brave and fiercely motivated business woman and owner of “Sakura Events” – Salome Sathaye. Few seconds of chatting with her and I knew I’ve made the right choice partnering with her brand. More to woman power!! For everyone who has been following my digital space, and those of you who are reading for the first time should know there are going to be so many more events covered from this association, a visual treat and a reader’s delight.

A cherry on top anyone?? Well, last weekend (All thanks & kudos to Sakura Events) I got to cover an elite event, which was a Promotional Event of the latest Mercedes variant for the Indian market. This event was held at Shaman Motors, Kalina and the New Mercedes C-Class was the Focus Car of the Event. The inside of the car is as drool worthy as the exterior, with a rear view mirror bedazzled with small lights fitted across the border. (A treat for us ladies, Woot! Woot!)

Two things caught my eye – The dazzling beauties in Dark Blue & white placed on either sides of the showroom and the Hawaiian theme of the Event. Right from the entrance to the bar and everything in between was covered in elements of tropical decorations, flower leis, lanterns, frilly paper skirts(Similar to traditional grass skirts), Surf boards, palm tree cut-outs, beach side wooden tables set-ups with the touch of pineapple candle holders. Everything about this party made me feel as if I am actually at an island party. Having the right décor is the first step towards getting the ball rolling to make a memorable event.

Being greeted with lei flower crown and garland which I’m happily seen donning throughout, and the ambiance made me forget about the car launch for few seconds (and it takes a lot for a car lover like myself to forget the real purpose, hahaha :D). You had to be there to believe it. The most impressive thing was they managed to Organize the whole event in less than 4 days. Now here’s where the expertise of being in the event management business for over five years speaks volumes and true to their label, this Luxury Events Company – Sakura Events, made it a night to remember! After all, this dedication can only be fueled through passion. And this has been Salome’s driving factor since she organized an Arabian themed anniversary party for her parents..

Kudos to the team for giving Mercedes C Class an entry that will be talked about and how!

Since I was hop skipping from another event, I decided to keep my outfit semi-Indian with a flowery printed kurti and leggings. My flowery crown went so well with my entire look, didn’t it? Now this is a look you could carry at an Indian event and also at such a Hawaiian themed elite luxury car launch too! A touch of Indian can always lend you a posh formal stance. Other than my invisible base for a no make-up look, I have added a dash of lip gloss and eye-liner to define those eyes. The only accessories I opted for are my dangling orange earrings with tiger stripes across it. It being a night event, I chose a bold red coloured kurti and hence kept a minimalistic make-up to counter.
